Design & Display

The Infinix Smart 10 features a sleek and youthful design crafted to appeal to entry-level smartphone users looking for style without breaking the bank. Its plastic frame is durable yet lightweight, providing a firm and comfortable grip even during prolonged usage. The rear panel features a glossy gradient finish with subtle patterns, giving it a premium look despite its budget classification. A compact camera module is neatly placed on the upper corner, adding to the modern aesthetic. The phone is available in vibrant colour options like Galaxy White, Timber Black, and Crystal Green, offering users a bit of personality in their device.

The front of the Infinix Smart 10 boasts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. The bezels are reasonably slim for a phone in this price category, and the screen-to-body ratio offers an immersive viewing experience for videos and browsing. The waterdrop-style notch at the top houses the front-facing camera, keeping the screen unobstructed for the most part. While not Full HD, the display offers crisp visuals and accurate colour reproduction for everyday use. It’s particularly good for streaming content, social media scrolling, and casual gaming, aided by a 90Hz refresh rate that is uncommon in budget devices.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 10 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, a dual-cluster octa-core processor designed to handle daily mobile tasks efficiently. It features a combination of ARM Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 cores, offering both performance and power efficiency. Coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, the phone can run multiple applications with minimal lag, especially when switching between social apps, music streaming, or messaging platforms. The Mali-G57 GPU also ensures basic games like Subway Surfers, Free Fire, or Candy Crush run smoothly without overheating.

The Smart 10 runs on Android 13 Go Edition with Infinix’s XOS interface layered on top. Android Go ensures the device remains snappy even with lower memory, optimising apps for quicker performance. XOS adds extra features like app freezing, smart panel shortcuts, and gesture navigation for enhanced usability. System animations are fluid thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate, and power-saving modes help prolong battery life. The software experience is clean, though some pre-installed apps may require disabling to free up space.

Camera System

Photography on the Infinix Smart 10 is handled by a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13MP main sensor paired with an AI depth sensor. The main camera captures reasonably detailed shots in well-lit conditions, offering good colour reproduction and acceptable dynamic range. Portrait mode benefits from the depth sensor, blurring the background effectively to highlight subjects. The AI scene recognition helps adjust exposure and contrast automatically depending on the environment, making it easy to get decent shots without manual tweaking.

The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter, nestled inside the waterdrop notch. It supports AI beautification and standard filters, which can enhance selfies for social sharing. It also features face unlock, which works adequately in daylight. Video recording maxes out at 1080p for both front and rear cameras, which is acceptable for video calls, casual vlogging, or TikTok clips. Night photography is limited, though the rear LED flash and software-based Night Mode provide some support in low light situations.

 Battery Life & Charging

A 5000mAh non-removable battery powers the Infinix Smart 10, delivering all-day usage for typical users. With optimised software and energy-efficient hardware, the phone comfortably handles calls, social media, music, and even light gaming without needing a midday recharge. On average, it can last up to 15 hours of screen-on time or 2 days on standby. Battery performance is a standout strength of this device, especially for users in regions where charging opportunities may be limited.

Charging is handled through a USB-C port, a welcome improvement over older Micro-USB ports in entry-level models. It supports 10W standard charging, taking around 2.5 hours for a full top-up from 0 to 100%. Though fast charging isn’t supported, the generous battery capacity ensures fewer charging cycles are needed throughout the day. Reverse wired charging is also available, allowing users to power smaller devices like wireless earbuds or a friend’s phone in emergencies.

Storage, Connectivity & Security

The Smart 10 is available in 64GB or 128GB internal storage configurations, with expandable microSD support up to 256GB. This allows users to store apps, music, videos, and photos without constantly worrying about space. Dual SIM support ensures flexibility for users managing multiple networks or separating work and personal contacts. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and an FM radio receiver.

Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure access. Face unlock is also available and works well under good lighting conditions. The DTS audio enhancement delivers richer sound via headphones or loudspeaker, especially useful for music lovers. The presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack also adds convenience, making it compatible with a wide range of traditional earphones and headsets. All these features make the Smart 10 highly practical and user-friendly.
