Inside the box
Thereโs also the fact that the charging cable, the charging brick, and the earphones are no longer included in the box. If you havenโt purchased an iPhone recently, or if you donโt have those cables lying around the house, you will have to include that in your purchase.
Super Retina XDR OLED display
The largest improvement, the most paramount improvement that we are witnessing this year is the introduction of an OLED screen on these iPhones. Secondly, this is a subject of utmost importance. It is that new ceramic shield which is used in these particular screens. Itโs tech where theyโve apparently created very tiny ceramic crystals within the glass layer in order to enhance the durability of the screens. And so, as per Apple, it has a drop performance that is four times superior to the previous screens used in iPhones.
5G connectivity
Thereโs the fact that Apple iPhone 12 smartphone is 5G ready! now whether or not the world is ready for 5G, that is a totally different question that I wonโt get into in this review. But it is comforting to know that youโre buying a phone that will stand the test of time once 5G does become more widespread. And trust me, when it does become available, it will be speedy.
iPhone 12 design and build
The durability and resilience of the Apple iPhone 12 is definitely not in its design. The phone has IP68 rating for dust and water resistance (assured up to 6m for 30 mins immersion), an enhanced oleophobic coating that offers better scratch resistance, and better drop. Whenever they say that they really drop resistant, they mean it literally.ย Apple claims that it’s four times as drop-resistant as the one before it, i.e. the iPhone 11, which is incredible at withstanding falls.
Camera performance
Moreover, there are various other things that they have worked on. Their new processor utilizes the Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) chip with enhanced GPU and a greater degree of machine learning. Also, they have an improved camera system upgrade too. It has not changed much externally, still carrying two lenses outboard. Ultra wide angle lens has been retired however, that is no longer the case and low-light photos have been integrated pleasantly. As far the camera is concerned, the configuration is not different when compared to the previous version iPhone 11.
As mentioned again, it has still the two lenses on the back of wide-angle (12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm, 1.4ยตm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS) and ultrawide angle (12MP, f/2.4, 120ห, 13mm, 1/3.6), no telephoto camera on this device. Only this time it has night mode features on both lenses. In fact, there is night mode in the front camera and night mode for the video capturing too. This is to say the least; because this camera will work in low light conditions for almost any use, including portrait mode. It has also some changes in terms the video processing and the pictures that it takes.
Next level processing
It features Deep Fusion computational photography from Apple as well as HDR3 and Dolby Vision which is movie standard quality. Essentially, professionally edited images and videos will come straight from your iPhone The Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) chipset has a smaller five-nanometer transistor than the most powerful chip and smartphone generation available, taking the lead in smartphone chip evolution. However, all the iPhone 12 models has the same CPU.
MagSafe accessories
Apple recently unveiled a new technology called MagSafe that combines the features of a magnet, a magnetometer, and an NFC reader all in one. It provides a range of mounting accessories and a charging system. With MagSafe on the iPhone 12, you will be able to properly orient your phone onto the wireless charger or easily Snap-on MagSafe case, wallet, or both. In essence, MagSafe is a system of smart magnets which help in fastening various accessories and otherwise.
The Apple iPhone 12 is an incredible power house and a multipurpose device that incorporates features of advanced technology, beauty and sophistication. Welcome the world of tomorrow with the Apple iPhone 12.
